Dynamsoft Corporation, a leading developer of version control and bug tracking software, today announced an update for its version control solution - SourceAnywhere, which comes with both Hosted and Standalone editions.

SourceAnywhere is SQL-based source code control software designed to be a replacement of Microsoft Visual SourceSafe. The solution provides integration with Visual Studio, Eclipse and Macromedia Studio as well as other MSSCCI compatible IDEs.

The new version of VSS Import Tool benefits users by reduced time, improved stability as well as stronger fault tolerance. The whole process is now divided into four stages. This enables developers to perform source control operations even during the import process.
