Apollo Group of Hospitals decides to leap into health insurance sector and joins hands with Munich Health with the name of Apollo Munich.

The condition of healthcare insurance in India is not good. Very less number of people belongs to the pool of insured individuals. The current healthcare statistics show that only $2 billion out of $40 billion of healthcare expenditure is financed by health insurance.
