Dell Inc. has lifted the veil of a number of much-demanded software services for the development of the small sector business. This is the latest ploy by Dell to wade deeper into the area of cloud computing.

Past Tuesday, Round Rock (based in Texas) stated that it is ready to offer a customer-relations management tool that uses software from itself as well as from Salesforce.

Dell, as the company stated, is contemplating launching of special applications for accounting, marketing and a host of other management functions by next year. Others services offered by Dell include implementation of new software and special services for aiding the clients assess their business. The packages shall start at $5,000.

This is Dell’s latest ploy towards boosting its presence in the sector of cloud computing. Cloud computing is a fast developing avenue of IT which provides a slew of internet services like data storage, software and other computing services.

Cloud computing is supposed to help the corporates cut down on their costs and go about the business operation in a much more efficient manner. Thus, cloud computing increases operational efficiency and also brings economy.
