Skoda Auto India reports sales increase by over 20% for August

While the west is facing a grave economic crisis, the Indian market seems to be showing signs of recovery. A recent CII survey has reported that the Indian corporate are expecting a better sales and exports figure for the quarter July-September.

Skoda Auto India has, now, come out with a positive news of increment in sales for the month of August by as much as 20 percent over the last year. The company that could generate sales of 1512 units in August, 2010, has reported a sales figure of 1912 units in August, 2011. There has been a massive rise in the sale figure by 400 units which is over 20%.

Thomas Kuehl, the Board Member of Sales and Marketing, Skoda Auto India, has stated that the company was pretty confident and optimistic about a spurt in its sales. There are a number of elements that have together contributed to the resounding success as the company strives to provide unmatched service of excellent quality to its customers. The company’s endeavour to loyally and efficiently serve the Indian people is the chief reason for the growing trajectory recorded this month.

Kuehl is also hopeful that the company would be able to launch their entry level sedan by the end of 2011. The company is working hard towards achieving the goal as that would enable it to exploit a new segment of the Indian market. Overall, Kuehl is pleased with the growth and development of the concern in the past year and is confident of its growth in the near future.
