Epic Pictures Group is igniting the market with the premiere screening of SPACE DOGS 3D, an English language animated film that tells the incredible tale (or is it tail?) of Belka and Strelka, two Russian dogs who become the world's first canine astronauts (or cosmonauts). Originally produced in Russia by Vadim Sotskov under the CNF Anima banner, project is one of the most ambitious Russian productions in recent history with a budget of 35 million US.

Pre- market, the film has generated a huge amount of interest with theatrical deals already closed in Poland, Turkey, Korea, the Middle East, Italy, and China.
Film will be screened in Real D 3D, the same format as Avatar, to give the buyers what the ticket buying audience has been demanding.
Epic Pictures is already working on a sequel to SPACE DOGS, aptly titled, SPACE DOGS 2, which will also be produced in 3D. 
A television series in 2D is also currently in pre-production.

Film is currently in release on just under 600 screens in Russia in its original language and is approaching 7 million US at the box office.
