George and Emma’s fondest recollections and memories of Natasha, were of her coming home smiling after every visit to the hospice covered in face paint and glitter. Fortunately, these memories of their daughter will always be preserved through digital photos, and this was the foundation and nucleus for an idea that would help raise funds in support of Robin House.

George explains: “Emma and I desperately wanted to find an enduring way of thanking Robin House for all their unstinting support, love, care and compassion. Hospices are invaluable in every community, and play such a huge and important role in the lives of the sick and frail children, and their families”.

He continues: “With our memories of Natasha bolstered through digital photography, we devised the idea of creating an online photo hosting community called SnapnShare, where people can share memories and positive experiences. The service is free to the members, and the plan is that once we achieve a high enough volume of traffic on the website, we will monetise it through advertisements and Google Ad-Sense. All proceeds from the advertising will be channeled to Robin House”.

SnapnShare offers unlimited storage and file sizes, preventing hard drive crashes, along with slide shows which can be embedded across multi websites. In addition the website provides the unique option of geo-tagging through Google Maps, which is not something that is currently available on Social Media / Networking websites like Facebook. And in keeping with Facebook, SnapnShare also offers a people tagging facility.
