Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the globe can explore business opportunities, learn the latest market trends, establish contacts, exchange views and ideas at the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Expo and Conference from December 13 to 15 in Dubai.
It is an opportunity for SMEs to display products and services as well as acquire latest technology and promotion of contract manufacturing and investment, informed organizers in a press release.
SME Expo & Conference, in its second edition, is a gateway for SMEs globally to accelerate their business networks.
This second edition will bring the prominent people from the industries like Banking, Legal & Accounting, Investment, Insurance, Entrepreneurs, Petrochemicals, Plastic, Product Development, Education, Franchising and many others.
"India along with Pakistan, Mauritius, Nigeria and Vietnam have confirmed their participation in the event," said W. Gagan, the Exhibition Manager of the SME Expo.
The Western economies realized decades ago that it is really SME drives the economy and though big business are important, surely they have very big problems of their own. Gigantic corporations of the earlier eras have increasingly lost their edge to nimble, fast-moving, smaller organizations as they have continuously spouted all over the Western landscape.
Here in Dubai and in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) alone - comprising Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Bahrain & Qatar, a new turning point has been achieved, as mega corporations which were formerly the only originators of economical movements in the past are now increasingly being shadowed by the emergence of hundreds of small and medium enterprises, engaging in a huge variety of traditional or brand new concepts, both backed by the latest technology and integrated systems.
The event is dedicated for all SMEs from the region and around the world to provide the common platform to explore business opportunities, form alliances, exchange ideas, develop new tradings and build new contacts in the fields of garments and textile, petrochemicals & plastic Industry, arts & handicrafts, education and specialized trainings, etc.
SMEs can make new alliances, explore Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market and opportunities, expand their network. SME Expo will be visited by some 10,000 members of the SME community of this region and the world.
There will be some 150 SME related businesses showcasing their strengths and innovative ideas. In the SME Conference, there will some 200 delegates who will hear the top 20 speakers in this field.
The theme is 'Making Innovations happen in SMEs: Financing, Networking, Innovation and Technology' to offer a platform to create new alliances and to team up for greater exportable opportunities throughout the Middle East and mena.
"Finally, we are ready to tackle this new frontier and we invite businesses from all over the world to come and explore the golden opportunities this region has to offer to SME," says Gagan. |
