Crisil to acquire Pipal Research to boost position in KPO segment

NEW DELHI: The Credit Rating and Information Services of India Ltd(Crisil) has decided to acquire US-based knowledge process outsourcing company, Pipal Research Corporation for $12.75 million.

Crisil has already signed a pact to purchase the Pipal business. Pipal has an impressive client list which consists of firms from the technology and financial services sector. Ms Roopa Kudva, CEO and MD of CRISIL has stated that this acquisition will help CRISIL boost leadership position in the KPO segment.

CRISIL is a ratings, research, risk and policy advisory firm.
