Workshop on SME Challenges

HUMAN Network INDIA (HNI) is a registered not for profit Trust, a First Generation Campaigner, Millennium Development Goals of UN and an action network for building capacities of First Generation Entrepreneurs with a mission to form a Social Entrepreneurs Community in rural India. HNI mainly deals with the REGP and even sustainable livelihoods for slum dwellers in cities with the active involvement of Micro level Income Generating Clusters and building capacity for NGO governance.

HNI is working with MSME – Development Institute, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India to conduct 1-Day Industrial Motivation Campaign (IMC), 2-Weeks Management Development Programme (MDP) & 6-Weeks Entrepreneurship Development Programme (ESDP). We have already conducted 12 IMCs, 02 MDPs & 12 ESDPs at various locations of West Bengal.

HNI is a collaborating Agency and has already signed MOU with The Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Ahamedabad to conduct 1-Year Open Learning Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship.

Following UN Global Compact's ten principles HNI is going to organize a one Day Workshop on Challenges of Small & Micro Sector in Nadia at Kalyani Municipality AC Hall, Nadia on 3rd December 2010.

Main objectives of organizing this workshop are:

1.         Focusing the young unemployed youths to believe that to believe on oneself and they can start their own ventures.

2.         Evaluating the existing schemes available with Central & State Govt. Agencies with a road map for future advancement.

3.         Sharing views with other established entrepreneurs.

4.         Formulating procedures and methods to be adopted to support Small & Micro Sector Enterprise in future in a sustainable manner.

5.         To create Social Entrepreneurs at least one in a Block among young unemployed aspirant youths in Nadia District within the framework of Enterprise Global Bengal And global economic scenario.

6.         Information on MSME schemes & programmes.

We would like to inform your good self that around 120 participants from several Central, State Govt. Agencies and esteemed business associations involved in the development of Small & Micro Sector in West Bengal, Other Agencies & Entrepreneurs of Small & Micro Sector are expected to participate in this One Day Workshop.
